1, 3, 6, and 7 strike me as your best bets for a research paper Danielle; 2 would be interesting, but too much like a memoir probably.
There are some very good books out right now on the UN, and probably some good journal articles too. We'll have a librarian on board soon to help steer all of you towards good research.

I think you should write about your dental experience in the military. I find your story very interesting! I too am going in to the dental field, and I think it is amazing that you got dental experience so young! That's great! :)

I definately think you should do something dental related. I think you would be able to write a really good paper on that topic. Maybe you can answer the question...Why should we go?
